Central Alberta: where are we now and where are we headed?

The Lending Cupboard Society of Alberta has, for the past several months, been conducting a Community Needs Assessment (CNA), in an effort to learn about the current and potential needs of the Central Alberta region. While this needs assessment will help The Cupboard project demand for its services and thus effectively plan for its future, the board of directors and executive director recognize that the information in the CNA report can benefit the entire community.

“The report that will be generated through this project will offer a snapshot of the demographics, economic conditions, and health of the Central Alberta region,” explains Dawna Morey, Executive Director of The Lending Cupboard. “We think there is valuable information in this report that can help other social profit organizations, municipalities and even businesses in their planning.”

The Lending Cupboard has decided to share this report with the community, and will unveil it at a community breakfast on November 8th, 2016. This event will be held at the Golden Circle at 7:30 AM.
