  • Action to End Poverty Alberta is a non-profit initiative that works collaboratively with all levels of government, the community and with people experiencing poverty, to help develop and implement a comprehensive strategy and action plan to end poverty in Alberta.
  • The Broadbent Institute is an independent, non-partisan organization championing progressive change through the promotion of democracy, equality, and sustainability and the training of a new generation of leaders.
  • Caledon Institute is a social policy think-tank whose work covers a wide variety of social policy areas including income security, community capacity-building, taxation, social spending, employment development services, social services, disability supports and health.
  • Canada Without Poverty: Works to address poverty in Canada from a human rights perspective based in international law.
  • The Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives: The Growing Gap project takes an in-depth and sustained look at income inequality in Canada by tracking household income, wealth, spending and credit data.
  • Canadian Social Research Net publishes a weekly newsletter on social issues and provides an online resource on provincial poverty reduction strategies as well as a poverty dispatch archive.
  • Central Alberta Poverty Reduction Alliance (CAPRA): A collaborative initiative supporting the efforts of those working to reduce poverty in our community in Central Alberta.
  • Edmonton Social Planning Council monitors social issues and trends, and regularly produces publications that make accurate information and an informed perspective available to the public.
  • PovNet: PovNet provides online tools that facilitate communication, community and access to information around poverty-related issues in British Columbia and Canada.
  • Public Interest Alberta: Public Interest Alberta is a non-profit, non-partisan, province-wide organization focused on education and advocacy on public interest issues.
