Poverty Awareness Survey Results

The Poverty Awareness Survey was administered in the City of Red Deer this past winter. The purpose of the survey was to understand the views and opinions about poverty and how these can be used to help community partners improve and develop strategies toward poverty prevention and reduction. Melissa Hillman, a 4th year Red Deer College Psychology student, led the project under the direction her professor Dr. Anomi Bearden. Results were shared at a meeting on April 30th. Read the Executive Summary or take a look at the Poster Presentation.

Thank you to all of the organizers and participants.
